Australian Native Fauna

Australia has a diverse range of native animals many of which belong to an unusual group of mammals known as marsupials and are unique to Australia. Included in this group are the Kangaroos and Wallabies, The Wombat, The Koala and the Tasmania Devil to name a few.

The Platypus and Echidna belong to another group of mammals known as Monotremes. These mammals are unusual as they lay eggs like reptiles and birds, but feed their young with milk from their mothers teats as all mammals do.

Australia has many native bird and reptile species which will also be included in this portfolio.
