Located on the Limestone Plains between Melbourne to the South and Sydney to the North and nestled between the Brindabella Mountain Ranges to the West and the Great Dividing Range along the Coast to the East lays Australia’s National Capital, Canberra.
Canberra is an Aboriginal Word for “Meeting Place”.
This is an apt title for the location of Australia’s parliament where politicians from all over Australia come together to debate and make policies for governing Our Nation.
Canberra was originally constructed around the foreshore of Lake Burley Griffin (Named after the architect who designed the City of Canberra – Sir Walter Burley Griffin) and had since fanned out into the neighbouring countryside yet still contained between the two mountain ranges.
